Two interesting Boston area chocolate developments:

1. New Boston local chocolatier La Tene. Fabulous handmade truffles! My personal favorite is the Savarin truffle. As per the La Tene website: "Earthy Venezuelan chocolate meets French triple creme cheese. Freshly ground Tellicherry peppercorn spikes a rich, savory ganache."

2. I first tried La Tene mastermind Brendan's truffles at the Chocolate Lounge in Central Square, Cambridge. The Taza Chocolate lounge is open very Thursday evening.
